Who Belongs at the Fire
Einherjarhall exists for people who share a sincere interest in Norse history, mythology, language, and living practice — and for seekers who approach with honesty rather than agenda. You do not need to agree with anyone else's theology. You do not need to share anyone else's politics. You do need to treat every person at this fire as kin under the same roof.
Practitioners of Ásatrú, Heathenry, Forn Siðr, and related paths. Curious newcomers. Scholars and skalds. People rebuilding ancestral connection. People who simply love the lore. All sincere guests are welcome to pull up a bench.
Teach & Learn
Share what you know. Ask what you do not. Point to sources. Admit uncertainty. The hall grows when knowledge moves between people.
Respect the Bench
Disagreement is allowed. Contempt is not. Challenge ideas with evidence and good faith — never with cruelty toward the person holding them.
Keep Frith
Frith is peace within the hall — the obligation to maintain workable relationship even when opinions diverge. Break frith, and you break the covenant.
Zero Tolerance — No Exceptions
The following will result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and — where applicable — referral to law enforcement and legal action:
- Harassment — repeated unwanted contact, dogpiling, targeted mockery, or sustained pressure designed to drive someone away
- Threats — any threat of violence, harm, or doxxing, whether "serious" or "joking"
- Stalking — following a member across threads, platforms, or private channels after being told to stop
- Berating & belittling — insults, slurs, humiliation, or language intended to make someone feel small or unwelcome
- Hate & exclusion — white nationalism, ethnic supremacy, or any ideology that denies the humanity or belonging of others in this hall
- Predatory behavior — sexual harassment, grooming, or any conduct that exploits vulnerability
- Bad-faith disruption — brigading, trolling, or entering the hall solely to provoke conflict rather than participate sincerely
We mean this. Einherjarhall logs reports, preserves evidence, and cooperates with authorities when behavior crosses into criminal conduct. "Anonymous online" is not a shield. If you are found out, you will face consequences inside and outside this hall.
What We Expect of Every Member
Speak as you would at a sumbel among people you respect. Assume good intent from newcomers until evidence proves otherwise. Use the report function when you see a violation — do not escalate into public flame wars. Moderators review every report.
You may hold any political view and any theological position that does not require denying the dignity of others. Debate is welcome. Dehumanization is not. This hall does not belong to any single faction of modern Heathenry — it belongs to everyone who enters with sincerity and keeps the covenant.
Reporting & Enforcement
Every post and reply at the Communal Fire includes a report option. Use it. Reports are reviewed by hall stewards. Repeated false reporting is itself a violation.
Enforcement steps, in order of severity: warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and — for conduct that constitutes stalking, threats, harassment under law, or child endangerment — preservation of records and contact with appropriate legal authorities.
By creating an account and participating in community features, you agree to this covenant in full. Version 1.0 — established June 2026.
